HELLO 2014!!!

I can say 2013 has been a nice ride, but I'm happy 2014 is here. I know many of you have New Years resolutions and I hope you achieve them all in this new year. As long as you motivate yourself and stay committed, those resolutions will become a reality!! I had a nice new years eve. It was filled with non stop dancing, many laughs and smiles, and many glasses of my sparkling Apple Cider. I'm 18 sadly, so I cannot have alcohol yet. I hope I don't crazy on my 21st birthday. I really don't want to experience a hangover.

I really did love this look. It was something fresh I came out with. I have been dying to wear this cute peplum top my mom got me a while back. It's perfect in so many ways. New Years Eve...

2014 is almost here!!

       2013 has been a wild ride, but I'm really thankful for my family this year, who has supported me through every decision I have made this year. Sure I made some mistakes, but without mistakes I wouldn't learn, right? With this new year approaching, I know many of you probably have many new years resolutions, whether it's dropping 10 lbs or getting that promotion you know you deserve. Only being 18, my resolutions aren't probably what you would expect an 18 year old to want.

       I know this is very cliche thing to say, but I honestly do believe it. For some reason I feel that 2014 is going to bring me many opportunities, and it's going to my choice to take them or not. If you believe the same thing, then high five!! There are 10 things I want to discuss with you all, well 10 resolutions I have for 2014. And I hope you share with me your 10 resolutions you have for 2014 because I honestly would love to hear them. So here I go:

• My first resolution is to stop worrying, and just live my life.
• Stay positive and whenever I'm feeling down, remember how blessed I am.
• Spread more positivity(I know this isn't a word) in the world!! I really want to volunteer in a lot of charities this upcoming year!
• Work hard on my blog and listen to my sister who knows more than me, even though I hate to admit that she does!!
• Step up in my household and appreciate my parents more than I already do.
• Get a job and work hard in school!
• Get my license!! It will be mine!
• Appreciate the little things!!
• Believe that you are beautiful and so is the world, no matter all the bad things that happen in it. Like they say everything happens for a reason.
• BE HAPPY!!!

       There are many reasons to why these are my resolutions, & I in fact are going to write them down, put them on my wall and when I feel I have accomplished this resolution I will cross it out. My quote for this year will be, "Work hard and it will pay off!" I hope you all share with me your resolutions and hope you all have a fab New Years Eve!!

Happy Tuesday!! Tuesday's are weird, or am I the only one that thinks that? I feel Monday is a dread because back to work/school. Wednesdays are hump day, almost to Friday. Thursdays are joyful because 1 day from Friday, and Friday is TGIF!! The day I took this picture was the coldest day and I decided to wear my little jacket. I'm so smart right ahaha, no. I was freezing!!

This outfit was really simple. I was planning on wearing something different but it was not working out, so I put on this outfit real quick. We went over to my dad's girlfriend's parent's house. Gosh that was a bit confusing. Anyways it was a nice time, and I got to see deer! It was pretty cool. They were just chilling on the side of the road. I don't know how people can kill them. They're so cute.

Isn't this hello kitty sweater so cute? I'm remember when my sister gave it to me in 8th grade because my sister's friend didn't want it anymore. I have waited over 4 years to wear this adorable sweater. I was a bit nervous about this outfit, but hey fashion is where I take risks.

I did feel like a little girl in this outfit honestly, and when I asked my friends about it, they all said I look cute, so I thought it was a good outfit. I wanted to show off the whole sweater which is why I went with this cool printed leggings. If I felt like hiding the sweater a bit, I probably would've pair it with a simple skirt or shorts. Hope you love this outfit.

I'm sorry for today's late post. I have been so tired lately, and today I need to go to bed early. This girl needs her full 8 hours of sleep. Sometimes I feel like I have insomnia, which sucks because I love to sleep. If there was such a thing I would be Queen of Sleep. 

A heat wave hit San Diego yet again, and I have dying to take this adorable crop top from Wildfox. I did make some adjustments to it, well because knowing me I just love to cut my shirts. This was a very simple look. Perfect for a hot day like it was or to the beach. I hope you all love this look!!

I'm sorry these pictures are a bit blurry. These were the ones that managed to look a bit clear. I guess my camera was being stupid & just wasn't focusing right. It made me a bit mad because I loved the way the pictures could have looked but no, it never works out for me. 

I hope you guys do like this outfit. I plan on doing a night outfit with this same outfit. I will then combine so you can see the easy pieces to change your outfit from the day to night. Before I do pick what pieces I want to up this outfit, let me tell you that the most key piece you can to up this outfit is either statement heels or a statement jewelry. Since this skirt is already complicated you don't want to add a statement jacket to this, because it will only make your outfit look out of place.

Aren't I just a bunches of fun? I love to take these fun pictures honestly. I feel like they show off who I am. I'm quite awkward, weird, funny, & very competitive about my sports. I feel though, that I should be a bit more "real" with you guys. Maybe I shall do a video soon, but I need a topic to talk about, whether it's sports or make up or something happening in the world. You guys tell me. 

It's hard to wear all black, when it's 80 degrees here in San Diego. It's not fun at all, but I did love this outfit. I added the jean shirt to give it a bit of edginess and some form of a casual look. I'm glad I added my orange glasses. I always have to mix in a color if I'm wearing all black or all white. And if you may tell, I'm a little bit obsessed with my purple lipstick. I honestly love it.

I was a little bit uneasy about this outfit. I sort of liked it and hated it. It definetly has that edgy feel, but for some reason I felt the jeans didn't do it justice but I felt it toned it down a bit. I think maybe if I had darker jeans, the whole outfit would then just be edgy. 

I sort of felt like Rihanna in this outfit, not going to lie. I think there is something about putting your hair in a high ponytail and high heels, that makes you feel like you can take on the world with fiercness. Am I the only one? I hope not. I hope you guys like this outfit.

Hello my loves. I'm sorry I've been a bit distant lately. With my birthday just a few days ago, I was a bit busy. But your girl is finally 18!! I'm legal. Now I can vote and have more responsiblites, oh yeah!! I didn't do much but it was a good birthday. My family is the best. I finally have money and I cannot wait to go fall/winter shopping!!! I know the things I want to get, I just hope the stores I'm going has the items.

I really do love this look and cannot wait to wear it out somewhere. When I picked it out, I didn't think it was going to look this great but it did. I'll possibly do a kind of fall to winter look with this one. San Diego doesn't really have what you call "fall weather". It's always up and down. This past few days have been a bit warm so if you see my outfits suddenly change from summer/spring like to fall/winter, well it's because San Diego doesn't have a constant weather. It's never just fall or summer. It's all over the place.

Winter/Fall Faves

Winter/Fall Faves by thesamdiaries featuring a purple dress

The other day I thought I should start doing more polyvore sets to feature on my blog for you guys. I came up with these two sets. This one above is all about winter/fall faves of mine. I featured 4 stores you gals might love/like. My fav from Forever 21 has to be the watch. I'm not a fan of cats, though they are cute. I thought it was incredibly cute. All the items featured are all under $100. I know that may be a bit expensive for you all, but I had to say under $100, due to the fabulous, worth buying leather ankle boots from H&M. They are $82, but they are worth the buy!! They're long lasting & comfortable.

I hope that most of these items were some of your need for fall/winter list. If you want me to do more sets like this, please let me know in the comments.

So with summer officially over, I know many of you have crop tops, that you have no idea how to style. I don't have as many as many of you may have, but here is one that I have similar to. This cute cat crop top is from Forever 21 and I decided to layer it with this denim collar top from H&M. If you do not like this idea or are too afraid how this might look, layer your crop top with a dress underneath. I think that is the best way to layer it. I added a lot of jewelry to this set, because the outfit is very simple and I wanted to add some statement pieces to it. I love the "Ain't No Wifey" from Tillys. It adds that pop of color and sassiness to your outfit. Hope you love this set.
