Forever 21 Make up Review...

I'm a beginner on make up honestly, so it is not perfect. 

I think I did a pretty good job though. Don't ya think?

ALL ITEMS BELOW ARE WHAT I USED FOR MY MAKE UP OF THE DAY!

I use this wonderful blotting powder to set in my foundation and it does wonders. It keeps the foundation looking fresh and not oily.

There are a lot more colors for the powder but since I am so pale, I use the light shade.

This has been the blush I have been using on a daily basis. It stays on all day and is perfect for cute rosy cheeks. It's the right amount of pink on my cute chubby cheeks.

Forever did send me a variety of eye shadows and I will be going back soon to buy more because they are perfect! I used the combination these three for my make up for the day. The rose gold eye shadow is a great contrast to the jet black eye shadow because it brightens my eyes but the jet black keeps that smokey sexy look I love. 

I use the light cream gold to line my inner lids to maintain a nice bright look to my eyes. I don't want to look full on goth chic.

Here are the brushes I use. And Forever is kind to label what they are, so you'll never get confused if you need some clarification on what brush to use, if you're a first time beginner like me. 

I love the matte foundation because I do have oily skin but the foundation maintains the right amount of moisture and keeps my face looking, well matte. Also it perfectly matches my skin.

I love the face primer because it smells like bananas. It works perfectly and keeps my foundation looking lovely all day/night long.

The concealer works wonders and you will not regret buying it from Forever!

This was my first time using a eyebrow kit. I love it a lot because it has two shades of dark brown. I use the lighter on the beginning of my bro and the darker on the middle to ending. It keeps my eyebrows looking all natural.

FOREVER 21 DID GIVE ME A LOT MORE MAKE UP THAN THIS BUT I ONLY DID A REVIEW OF WHAT MAKE UP I USED FOR TODAY. ANOTHER REVIEW OF THE OTHER MAKE UP WILL BE UP NEXT WEEK!

I have to give Forever 21 an A for their wonderful make up. It does great on covering some of my blemishes and does not feel caked on for me. A lot of foundations I have tried feel like I just dipped my face into a bunch of frosting. Forever 21 did a wonderful job with their make up department and would recommend you go and try out for yourself. I loved everything from their line. Great job Forever!

Leather me up, part 2...

I'm very sorry that I didn't post yesterday my loves, but I posted my pictures earlier than I thought. It was on the right schedule, I just was a day behind, and I'm sorry for that. I hope you all forgive me for that. 

Onto today's look. Plaid and leather are really the perfect combination. You can take it in a 50's bad girl way or make it preppy like I did for today's post. I recently got this grunge feel plaid shirt and this fab faux leather skirt for Christmas. I was nervous about wearing the skirt because I felt it looked to big on me. I honestly love it now and cannot wait to wear it again. The key to bringing this look together was the necklace. It brings that whole preppy feel together and complete.

Today I watched the documentary of Britney Spears: I am Britney Jean and she is such a sweet heart. Her sons are so adorable, I just wanna pick them up and take them away. I really do recommend you watch her documentary. It makes me want to go to her show and Las Vegas. I have never been and can't wait to go. It looks amazing.

This look was really simple I threw together. My sister gave me this dress and I was a bit nervous and how I was going to pull this off, but I got some inspiration from the fabulous blogger Sincerely Jules. Her style is laid back yet chic. Her style is really effortless. Hope you love this casual chic look!!

Sweetheart Sweater...

For everything is Forever 21.

Everytime I wear this sweater, I think of Pitch Perfect. I think of the part where she traces her heart shirt after learning she's going to get to solo. If you have not watched that movie, I recommend you do! This look was designed around my light purple lipstick. I really love this preppy look and hope you do too!!

There was many ways I could have worked around the purple lipstick but I really wanted to do a very preppy look. I thought my glitter heart sweater was the perfect fit. This is not one of my fav sweaters but I couldn't help but love the cute heart on it.

Oh gosh how I'm still tired from all the dancing. That's when you know you had a great NYE! I hope you all did. So I literally took these pictures on the freeway. My madre and I thought it would be cool to just stop and take my pictures there. I honestly loved the way they came out. It was a pretty cool experience to take my pictures on the freeway. Try it some time but BE SAFE!!

This outfit is actually old. I wore it last summer for the Del Mar fair and I never posted a blog post about it, so I thought why not just re-wear and take pictures. I really did love this look. It's edgy but still has that girly feel to it. I hope you try this look out. I got tons of compliments on this outfit. Remember people like people who dress unique. And don't worry you won't be as weird as I am. I mean I wore heels to school! They were wedges though, ahaha.

HELLO 2014!!!

I can say 2013 has been a nice ride, but I'm happy 2014 is here. I know many of you have New Years resolutions and I hope you achieve them all in this new year. As long as you motivate yourself and stay committed, those resolutions will become a reality!! I had a nice new years eve. It was filled with non stop dancing, many laughs and smiles, and many glasses of my sparkling Apple Cider. I'm 18 sadly, so I cannot have alcohol yet. I hope I don't crazy on my 21st birthday. I really don't want to experience a hangover.

I really did love this look. It was something fresh I came out with. I have been dying to wear this cute peplum top my mom got me a while back. It's perfect in so many ways. When I got the idea of pairing my purple shorts with this cute peplum top, I knew it would work well. If you're ever looking for that classy yet casual look, this is it. Hope you love today's post!!

From casual to fancy. Ooh la la!

I love my orange clutch. It provides the perfect pop of color. 

It's Christmas Eve. I'll be celebrating today. My family has this tradition that everyone comes over for a dinner and then we play games or something to keep us till midnight to open presents!! I hope it goes well today and I'm pretty excited to show you all what I'm wearing today. It has to do with Minnie Mouse and no I'm not dressing up as her, as if. Oh man, I need to watch Clueless. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve.

So for today's post, I decided to show you all two ways to style a pencil skirt. the first way is very casual and is a look you can wear that's still chic but comfortable. Ladies my skirt does not fit me tight, because I'm still growing into my body. I'm a late bloomer. The skirt should be tight. Do not get freaked out over it looking weird. I thing it looks fine but I know some of you might be skeptic about it. Instead of the high tops, replace them with sneaker wedges. That will give you height and still keep the look chic and casual.

The second look was what I call my "office look." I call it that because, well if I ever have an office job, I would probably wear this. I really adore this look, because it's sexy yet classy. I love looks like this honestly, because it proves that you don't need to bare all your goodies to be sexy. Sometimes when you bare all your goodies, well you might look a bit "trashy."
